1.8- No card data is saved or visible to any staff member. At no point are your credit card details sent over using an unsecured connection.

2.1- Vital Installations reserves the right to refuse or decline any work at its own discretion. Where the company agrees to undertake works for the customer (you), this will be done by authorised representatives of the company only.
2.2- All installations are subject to a physical (in person) or remote (video call) survey. Photographic evidence and complete installation area dimensions may also be required.
If an on-site survey is needed/requested, you may be charged a fee (minimum of 1 hour charge) + Travel expenses. If you (the customer) proceeds with the installation, then a 50% reimbursement will be given for the cost of the survey. This amount will be deducted from the final balance owed to us.
2.3- Payment for the installation will be required prior to or on the day of installation. Full payment must be made within 7 days after the installation is complete. If the payment is not completed within this time, we are at liberty to take possession of any goods supplied by Vital Installations. The customer hereby irrevocably authorises us to have access to the location of the goods to take repossession of them. Vital Installations reserves the right to remove stock or products which have not been fully paid for and charge a fee of £350.00 for the removal.

2.4- Vital Installations and its representative engineers accept NO liability with regards to any changes in the quality of water which is supplied by the Local Water Provider; the quality of the water, chemical content of the water and hardness of the water can vary depending on the supply.
2.5- Vital Installations operate a strict ‘No returns or refunds’ policy for plumbing and Installation works carried out.
If a product that has been fitted by us is faulty or leaking, please contact us immediately by phone, text or Email. We will then assess the situation and aim to rectify the issue as soon as possible. The customer is not to alter or amend the system in any way. If the workmanship has been altered by the customer or a third party, we (vital installations) cannot be held responsible for the fault.
2.6- If additional work is required during the installation of a product or should we encounter any unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you immediately before further work commences. Any additional work carried out will be charged at the basic hourly rate of £37.50 plus the cost of any materials used.
If a request is made for a completed installation to be altered, moved or removed additional costs will incur. This will be charged at £37.50 plus the cost of any materials used.
3.1- All the returns procedures listed below are subject to you notifying us by phone or Email prior to returning the item. You may return an item for any reason within 28 days of receiving the goods. All items must be Unused and in their original packaging suitable for resale.
3.2- All water treatment devices (filters, conditioners, revitalisers, and fittings) are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty; the individual warranties will differ depending on the product purchased. Please read specific product warranty for further information.
3.3- 28 days right of return: at the full purchase price for product and accessories supplied by us, The item/s must be in factory fresh condition otherwise a 25% restocking charge will apply. All returns are subject to the goods being complete, unused and in a resalable condition. This includes the goods packaging. We cannot refund incorrectly supplied goods if they are not returned in a resalable condition, with the original packaging.
3.4- We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item is not in a resalable condition. In some circumstances we will accept the return of a product that is used/ fitted. In this case a 25% restocking charge will apply. If for any reason we agree to collect goods from an agreed address, we cannot be held responsible for collection failures. In such an event, the customer must return the goods at their own cost regardless of the original reason for collection.
3.5- If you wish to return an item because of an error on our part, or it is defective, please contact us and we will arrange a collection. We will only cover your return postage costs if agreed prior to returning the goods. The item(s) must be returned within 28 days of purchase, provided you retain a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase.
3.6- If an item is returned to us from Royal Mail or any other couriers because it was undelivered and arrangements were not made to redirect, put in ‘safe place’, or collect, we will resend the item when repayment for the full cost of delivery is made. Our special offer delivery does not apply to redelivered goods.
3.7- We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred during communication with Vital Installation Ltd whether that communication be via telephone, e-mail or otherwise.
3.8- If any defect or any fault is apparent, then, to the extent to which the supplier is entitled to do so, the supplier’s liability under the statutory provisions is limited, at the supplier’s option, to:
(a) replacement or repair of the Goods or the supply of equivalent Goods; or
(b) payment of the cost of replacing or repairing the Goods or of acquiring equivalent goods.
and in either case, the supplier will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage.
3.9- We will not be held responsible for the method of return postage should the goods be returned back to us. We strongly recommend that you use a traceable service to return any items, defective or otherwise.
