Grander® revitalisation: what actually changes, from a Somerset perspective
Revitalised water is easy to describe and hard to explain. Here's how our Somerset customers describe the difference in their own words.
Grander® water revitalisation is the step that gives most people pause. Filtration and softening are easy to picture, take the bad stuff out, stop the scale. Revitalisation is different. It doesn't change what's in the water. It changes how the water behaves.
What the technology does
Developed in the Austrian Tyrol by Johann Grander, the units use a completely sealed "information transfer" between a chamber of highly-structured spring water and the water flowing past it. No electricity, no chemicals, no cartridges. The receiving water takes on a more coherent molecular structure, closer to fresh spring water than to what came out of the treatment works.
What our Somerset customers actually notice
- Silkier showers. The phrase comes up in nearly every review, especially from customers on soft-water Exmoor supplies.
- Better tea and coffee. Grander is often installed after Pureau filtration, the combination is what makes the biggest difference at the tap.
- Longer-lasting cut flowers and healthier houseplants. A surprisingly common piece of feedback.
- Calmer skin. Especially useful for households on chlorinated Wessex Water supplies.
Where it fits in a whole-house setup
Grander sits after your filtration and softening stage, right before the water enters the house. It's a small, silent, maintenance-free unit, the exact opposite of a high-tech gadget. Once fitted, you forget it's there.
Is it worth it?
For customers who prioritise the sensory quality of their water, bath, skin, taste, it's usually the piece that people rave about most six months in. For customers focused purely on scale and contaminant removal, the Pureau range alone will already transform the water. We'll talk you through the trade-off honestly during the quote.
