Returns & Warranty Policy

This policy applies to products purchased from Vital Installations. Installation labour is covered separately under our Terms & Conditions of Business.

Last updated: June 2026

1. Before you return an item

Please contact us by phone (07525 778 426) or email (connect@vitalinstallations.co.uk) before returning any goods so we can authorise the return and advise on the correct address.

2. 28-day right of return

You may return an item for any reason within 28 days of receipt, provided it is unused, complete and in its original packaging. Goods returned in factory-fresh condition will be refunded at the full purchase price. Items not in factory-fresh condition are subject to a 25% restocking charge.

3. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods

If a product is defective or supplied in error, contact us and we will arrange collection. Return postage will only be covered if agreed in advance. Items must be returned within 28 days of purchase along with proof of purchase.

4. Manufacturer warranty

All water-treatment devices (filters, softeners, conditioners, revitalisers and fittings) are supplied with the original manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and are included with each item. Cartridges and consumables are warranted for manufacturing defects only.

5. Installed products

Plumbing and installation labour is non-refundable. If a product we have fitted develops a fault, contact us immediately, do not attempt to alter the system. Faults caused by the customer or a third party altering the installation are not covered.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by statute, our liability for any defect is limited, at our option, to: (a) replacement or repair of the goods, or supply of equivalent goods; or (b) payment of the cost of replacing or repairing the goods. We will not be liable for any consequential, indirect or other loss or damage.

7. Return postage

We are not responsible for the method of return postage. We strongly recommend using a tracked, insured service.

8. Statutory rights

None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
