Sectors we serve

Every commercial site is different. What they share is water that arrives untreated, equipment that pays the price, and customers who notice.

Hotels & hospitality

Spot-free glassware, softer guest showers and better coffee, quality your guests notice, plant your maintenance team stops fighting.

Restaurants, cafés & bars

Protect combi ovens, dishwashers and espresso machines, and keep taste consistent from first cover to last.

Care & healthcare

Reliable, documented water quality with planned servicing, recorded performance checks and clear handover paperwork.

Gyms, spas & salons

Chlorine-free showers, scale-free steam rooms and better results on hair, skin and treatment-room equipment.

Schools & offices

High-quality drinking water at every point of use, and a straightforward way to remove bottled water from site.

Laundries & light industry

Lower detergent use, longer machine life and far fewer unplanned breakdowns on hard-water sites.

The business case

What untreated water costs a business

Energy you're already paying for

Just 1.6mm of scale on a heat exchanger cuts efficiency by around 12%. Over four years untreated systems can lose up to 40%.

Equipment failing early

Boilers, ovens, dishwashers, coffee machines and laundry equipment scale up internally and fail at the worst possible moment.

Flow, pressure and downtime

Scaled pipework and blocked solenoids reduce flow rates and turn routine maintenance into emergency callouts.

Bottled water & waste

Bottled water for staff and guests is expensive, heavy to handle and increasingly hard to justify in an ESG report.

Taste, health & wellbeing

Water your customers can actually taste

Filtration isn't only a maintenance decision. Chlorine, chloramine and disinfection by-products are exactly what people taste and smell in a glass of water, a jug of coffee or a hotel shower. Remove them, rebalance the minerals, and the difference gets noticed.

Indicative reduction

What multi-stage filtration removes

  • Chlorine & chloramineup to 99%
  • Trihalomethanes (disinfection by-products)up to 96%
  • Lead & heavy metalsup to 97%
  • Pesticides & herbicidesup to 95%
  • PFAS traces (PFOA / PFOS)up to 94%
  • Microplastics & sedimentup to 99%
  • Scale-forming crystal growthup to 90%

Indicative ranges from published performance data for multi-stage carbon and electro-chemical media. Actual results depend on your incoming supply, flow rate and service interval, every install is commissioned with a documented before-and-after test.

Taste & aroma

Chlorine and THMs are what people actually taste in tap water. Remove them and tea, coffee, stock and ice taste of what they're made from, a difference your customers notice on day one.

Health & hydration

Remineralisation returns magnesium, calcium, potassium and sodium, so the water is balanced and pleasant, and staff and guests drink noticeably more of it.

Skin, hair & comfort

Chlorine-free, softer showers reduce dryness and irritation. It's the single most commented-on change in hotel rooms, spas, salons and care settings.

Performance & efficiency

What treated water does to your numbers

Scale is an insulator. A film you could barely feel with a fingernail makes a heat exchanger work measurably harder for the same output, and the loss compounds every year a system runs untreated.

Around 1.6mm of scale means roughly 12% more energy for the same hot water. Four untreated years can cost up to 40% of original efficiency.

Indicative gains

Performance improvements after treatment

  • Heat-exchanger efficiency retained+12%
  • Detergent & chemical dosing−30%
  • Descaling & emergency callouts−70%
  • Working life of hot-water plant+40%
  • Bottled water spend on site−90%

Indicative figures drawn from published industry studies and our own UK site records. Bars show relative scale, not a single audited installation.

01

Scale & energy

Carbon Trust and industry heat-transfer studies put boiler efficiency loss at roughly 10–12% for 1.5–1.6mm of scale, rising steeply beyond that.

02

Plant lifespan

Water-heater and commercial dishwasher field studies report scaled units failing years earlier than treated equivalents, commonly cited as up to a 40% cut in service life.

03

Water quality

Reduction ranges come from published media test data and independent UK laboratory reports, including PFAS and microplastic removal.

Ask us to model the numbers for your own site, we quote from your water, not an average. The figures above, the full contaminant chart and the scale-loss curve are all in the brochure below.

Case studies

Real installs, real numbers

From a natural-products workshop to an Olympic athlete's kitchen and a public spring visited by thousands, three very different briefs, one accountable UK team.

Small-batch natural wax and balm production workshop
Case study, health & wellbeing

Songbird Naturals: water worthy of the product

Songbird Naturals hand-produce natural wax-based balms, waxes and wellness products in the South West. Water touches almost every stage, batch preparation, equipment wash-down, glassware and the drinking water the team gets through on a production day. Chlorinated, hard mains water was leaving scale on stainless steel, spotting on glass jars and a chemical note nobody wants near a fragrance-led product.

  • The brief

Remove chlorine, chloramine and disinfection by-products, control limescale without adding salt, and keep mineral balance intact for a natural-products brand.

  • The install

Point-of-entry multi-stage carbon and electro-chemical media, salt-free scale control on the hot feed, and a remineralised drinking outlet for the production team.

  • The outcome

No chlorine odour in the workshop, scale-free stainless steel and glassware, less detergent and descaler, and a drinking supply the team prefers to bottled.

Elite rower training on calm water at dawn
Case study, human performance

An Olympic gold medallist's training-day hydration

Elite rowing is a hydration sport. Two or three sessions a day, high sweat losses and back-to-back recovery windows mean water volume and water quality both matter. Our customer, an Olympic gold-medal-winning and World Champion rower, wanted litres of high-quality water on tap at home rather than crates of single-use bottles.

  • Volume without plastic

A 3-litre-a-day athlete gets through roughly 1,100 bottles a year. A whole-home system removes the bottles, the storage and the haulage entirely.

  • Mineral balance kept

Remineralisation returns magnesium, calcium and potassium, so high fluid intake supports electrolyte balance instead of diluting it.

  • Why it matters commercially

The same logic scales to gyms, spas, performance centres and staff facilities, unlimited water at the point of use beats pallets of bottled water.
